The Google services like Gmail, Contacts have almost helped us in replacing the things like books, papers, diary. How much access we have got to our cloud services, and storage devices, the information we will be having in the Google services is very much important and no one would obviously wish to lose that data. So, here are some of the simple and different ways to backup Gmail data that you may have.
Backup Gmail Using Google
Google’s native tool allows you to get this thing done for you. You need to head to the website https://myaccount.google.com/ and then log in using your Google credentials. Once you are done logging in to your account, then just navigate to Personal info & privacy> control your account from the panel on the left side of the screen.
Then head to the ‘Download or transfer’ your content section of the page to find the option ‘Download your data and then click on ‘Create Archive’
Then Google will let you select the apps and even let you decide on choosing the specific data in each menu using the drop-down menu.
After all the selections, click on next and decide how you wish to download the data, and finally click on create an archive.
Using UpSafe
This is really easy-to-use Windows app that is available to use for completely free. You can just simply download it on your computer. You can schedule your backups, archive inboxes, manage backups, and filter backups using this wonderful application.
There are also certain other apps for this purpose, but we really think the UpSafe tool is worth it.
Email Forwarding
Email forwarding is another simple way to back up Gmail data that is not considered at all. This is a simple way where each and every email your primary Gmail receives will be transferred to a secondary Gmail account. You can set up your settings in your Gmail account so that the received emails will be sent to other email ids that you wish to. The setup is simple.
We will come up with an article on automatic mail forwarding in our next one.
Hope you find these ways to backup Gmail data simple and useful.
