Disabling Autoplay Videos
On Chrome Browser:
Launch Chrome and in the Address Bar type: chrome://flags/#autoplay-policy and hit Enter. That will bring you directly to the flag that you need to change. From the drop-down box, change the setting from Default to “Document user activation is required” and relaunch the browser.
Twitter:
To stop autoplay videos on Twitter, there are some simple settings. On the web, you need to go to your account settings, and there
Settings>Account>Video Tweets>Autoplay videos
Uncheck that option to disable the autoplay feature.
Facebook:
To disable this feature in your desktop, you need to Settings>Videos>Now select the desired option for autoplay videos from the drop-down menu.
To stop autoplay in your Facebook Android application, you just need to go to
Settings>Video Auto-Play>Now pick your desired autoplay setting.
Instagram:
To stop autoplay videos in your mobile’s Instagram application there is a simple process. It can be done very easily. You just need to go to
Hamburger menu>Cellular data use> Use less data
YouTube:
While you play a video on YouTube, you will see some video suggestions on the right of your screen. There at the top of them, you will find the autoplay option. If the option is enabled it will be in blue color, disable it and that is it you are done.
