Adding Shortcuts To Google Assistant
- As a first step, you need to open the Google app, then click on more menu on the bottom bar. From here you need to navigate to Settings>Google Assistant.
- Here click on the services tab and open shortcuts.
- Here on the next screen, it will show you all the third-party application shortcuts that Google Assistant supports. Now tap on ‘+’ to add your favourite shortcuts and then it will show you a confirmation on Google assistant.
- Here, it will show all the third-party app shortcuts under the tab ‘Your Shortcuts’.
- For example, you can Twitter Messages as a shortcut keyword for getting the Messages from Twitter.
- Now you are done with the setup, you can go ahead and say “ Hey Google, Twitter Messages ”, and it will bring you the messages from your Twitter.
- The best thing is you don’t actually have to say the exact phrase, but you can say something closer to the original command and Google assistant will process it.
