Whatsapp Web 2.2034.7 version has introduced new options to make video or audio calls from the desktop client without picking up the mobile phone into the hand. Not only the individual calls, you can make group video and audio calls directly from the browser. When you are getting a call from one of your contacts, a small popup will appear on your screen by showing the contact details of the caller. It also shows the type of the call, whether it is a audio or video call. The pop-up itself provides the option to accept or decline the call.
While you are talking on the Whatsapp call from your computer, there is a option to mute the microphone if it is required. WhatsApp is planning to introduce multi device support by which one can use the WhatsApp account add multiple devices such as laptop, desktop and tablet. The facility will also available soon. The latest feature to make the video and audio calls from desktop computer will rollout to the stable version of the WhatsApp web in the coming weeks.
