Upaadi hami details

The Ministry of Rural Development has recently sanctioned Rs 4,431 crore to various States and Union Territories to meet arrears in the current financial year. Andhra Pradesh has contributed Rs 721 crore to the state.

The average daily wage for employment guarantee workers is 182 rupees, which is Rs 202. This is the first time that the salaries of the wage earners have been increased at this level since the NDA came to power in 2014. Seven percent increased in 2015-16.

The UPA government has introduced an Employment Guarantee Scheme to provide employment opportunities for rural people for one hundred days a year. For this, Mahatma Gandhi introduced the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005.
