Google Photos, the highly popular photo storage application has launched a redesigned Google photos app. The company claims this application like the one that gives more prominence to photos and videos. The redesigned app now comes with three tabs – Photos, Search, and Library. The app also finally gets a ‘Map View’, which has been one of its most-requested features. Another most interesting update is that the app’s icon is even getting a minor refresh.
What is in the new redesigned Google Photos?
The main tab hasn’t been changed much and as usual, it will contain photos and video tabs. But you will find little larger thumbnails. Another thing that you can observe is a larger ‘Memories’ carousel.
With this new update, Google has put the Search option on the front and the center of the open page, as it will be helpful for the users in quick access to the people, place, and things that are most important for the users.
It is known that the app will also have an interactive map with a view of all the photos and videos, enabling users to see where exactly they have taken their photos.
Update and relish these new features.
