Creating Text Phrases With Gboard
The Gboard from android has this inbuilt feature which we can make use of to be fast at typing on our Android devices.
- First, open your settings, then scroll down to language and input, click on it
- Then go to Gboard
- Now open the Dictionary option
- Then go to Personal dictionary, then click on all languages
- Hereby selecting the plus icon you can just add shortcuts to various text phrases that you regularly and most frequently used by the full phrase in the first box and then entering the shortcut to that word in the box below
That is it, you are thus done with the setting up of the keyboard shortcuts for long phrases, now as soon as you enter the shortcut words to the long text phrases, the keyboard will show up the phrase in the suggestion which you can just select to get it typed and make your work really fast and quick.
