Google always tries to streamline its messaging service. In such a recent attempt, it has been trying to bring RCS chat to the users through its old Messaging app on android. Emoji reactions to the RCS messages in the chat is the recent feature that is under the stage of testing in the Messages android app.
Even though Google has been trying a lot to bring in the users, the users have only started to find this feature very recently.
Emoji Reactions
So, for those who are unaware of this feature, this is basically a similar feature to those of the reactions feature on Facebook and Twitter. You just need to long-press on the message that you would like to react to, then you will find a few emojis pop-up on your screen. You can save yourself from long messages by responding to the messages with the help of reaction emojis.
Google hasn’t rolled out this feature to everyone yet, and this feature isn’t even available for beta users.
If the users who got the feature react to a message with an emoji, then the other user who doesn’t have this feature will get a text saying something like ‘ your friend ‘react’ to ‘your message’.
